DOES MY GUT LOOK SMALL IN THIS??
Good comfort, feels soft on the skin. Wicking worked well, and the zip up collar was a welcome bonus. I road tested mine in a small indoor climbing wall, where it gets very warm, it worked really well, even when really struggling on the wall. It dries quick too, but washing would be required after each use, coz it did start to whiff.
The fit. I`m pretty skinny, 11st and 6 ft tall, the medium fitted great round the shoulders, neck, arms and chest. However, the waist seems to have a billowing effect, with a large gap running down my back where I could feel sweat collecting without actually coming into contact with the material. This problem is solved quite dramatically by wearing a 30lb rucksack for wildcamping. The only other weakness was the sticky zip when it reaches the neck, easily solved though.
Very good. kept me dry where it really counted, chest, underarms, neck. Lowe need to make a fitted one for my super-model figure (hug me like a Helly??) or I`ll have to start drinking Guinness to expand my waistline.

LOVE IT!
Coped with the sweat backpacking in Oz, and no pong! Wash it, drunk. at 2 am when the temp is 4 degrees c, and it is dry by sunrise. Gets stolen by the women in the house, so the fabric must be kind to the skin...
Sizes are a bit unforgiving - I am between a medium and a large, so have found that to counter the gap at the bottom of the back, mentioned already, I need a L top, and M bottoms, or L bottoms with an M top - all a bit tricky with a hangover.. Zip was a bit sticky out of the box, but a quick rub with a HB pencil sorted that out. Would be better value if cheaper...
Faults can be forgiven - Love it. It has just passed the extreme conditions of eurodisney?! (wind and snow and small people who insist on staying out in it...) with flying coulours - so from the desert to the, well, entertainment park, it gets my vote!

IF THIS IS THE INDUSTRY STANDARD, HOW RUBBISH!
Washes well-needs too as well! Does wick reasonably well. Zip is good for temperature regulation
Nasty blue colour Doesn't feel that nice against skin. Does not fit. This is the women's version. It fits OK over the chest, but then kind of hangs around the waist. This kind of garmet needs to body hug to wick properly. Manufacturers should invest more time into getting women's fit garments to fit better. Smells bad. It seems to attract odour. I can normally wear things for weeks with no smell, this top smells after just one wear.
I am disappointed by this top, considering the tights (see other review) seem to work so nicely.
I don't think the material works very well on the upper body.
Next time I will probably go to M&S-at least they know how to cut garments so they actually fit.

IT'S TOO SHORT
Performance is fine. Dries quicker than any other fabric - rinse it in the burn at night and it's more wearable in the morning than anything else you can buy.
The back length is hopelessly short. I'm not an odd shape and I could do with at least 3" longer. (Anyone sn iggering at that - go and stand in the corridor. Rides up with a few minutes' ordinary walking. Yes, I should have spotted this when I tried it on. Don't make my mistake.
Works, but be cautious about sizing
