GOOD WARMTH - FLAPPY PEAK
Warm - especially for back of head and ears. Windproof. Can adjust flaps according to weather/activity. Can resist downpours.
Peak flaps about in strong winds and can severly reduce visability. Makes you look like a Russian hunter.
A good hat for all round use.
A better design would be to have velcro/popper holding the peak in place to stop it flapping in strong winds. - I'm going to put one in myself.

NEAR TOTAL PROTECTION
Incredibly warm and durable. Very good in strong wind.
Can be a little tight (and I don't have that big a head :)) If the temperature gets into double figures (centigrade) it's a little too warm.
Great hat. I've also had to use it an emergency foot-warmer in some nasty conditions. Wouldn't go hiking without it.

EXCELLENT HAT
Very warm. Ear and neck flaps can be secured up or down with the neck cord. Highly wind resistanr, and takes quite a soaking. Wired peak.
Only one size and a little smaller than their Atka.
An excellent cold weather hat, that provides great protection on cold windy days, with the option of securing the flaps out of the way if it gets milder. It even copes well with quite prolonged rain.

LUVVERLY
Soft and warm, great for winter.
Your chin can get a bit parky by comparison, but that's what balaclavas are for.
Lovely and cosy on yer bonce. Ear flaps are so cosy and warm. Great if you don't mind looking like Elmer J Fudd or Deputy Dawg. Did I mention it's cosy? ...and warm?
