Great hat, and indestructible too

absolutely indestructible. survives washing machines with not shrinkage or loss of shape. floats! ties on well and simply. holds shape well in the rain.
can be a little sweaty. expensive to buy.
Excellent hat for rain or sun. Completely bullet proof. With the front and rear straps on I have used it is gales with no worries of losing it. Gets dirty/sweat stained easily, but looks brand new again after a spin in the washing machine - Tilley recommend doing this regularly. I can find it a bit sweaty in the heat compared to lighter hats, but they don't last. Oh, and Tilley guarantee to replace it if it ever wears out! Comes with a four page owners manual - I kid you not. This is the Rolls Royce of hats and it shows in the price.
