I've had mine for about two years and they're still in good nick. Great for winter walking in particular but too hot to use in summer downpours. They tend to be employed from about late autumn onwards. Braces s Continue reading...
Very pleased with them considering the abuse i have given them. Continue reading...
Ok. More like climbing pants than winter waterproofs. Need more breathability in them. Fully waterproof with some good features and will keep them for climbing. But I am now off to buy a new pair of Gore-tex XC Continue reading...

Great pants especially for colder days.

My only gripe is the snow gaiters.  They have lace hooks that should be like the ones you would normally see at the front of a gaiter but the ones on these 'pants' are very narrow, about 2mm so too narrow to fit any laces through!?  They look like they are designed to fit a thin tape as they are parallel sided; i'm 50/50 wether to take the pliers to them to open them up or just cut the snow gaiters out altogether and use normal ones.

This is a shame as everything else is absolutely spot on.

Great slopettes these. I bought some before a winter week in Scotland about 7 years ago and they are still going now after a lot of abuse and no cleaning.
Cut the gaiters out! They don't work very well and unless you've got a bit if cord to secure them to your boot they ride up over the ankle cuff and you get snow in your boot. The hooks on mine ripped off a while back and you're not wrong, they are very tight. I'd either open them up a bit or just cut the gaiters out and where proper ones.
