A decent trouser which is very lightweight but for backpacking over a period of days will not keep trousers / tracksters dry underneath .
I've not tried re-proofing my pair . I will shortly .

I think these now retail at £35. The sho I went to had them reduced to £22 which I thought was a good buy. I don't think you'll find a sturdier pair at that price that are as breathable and waterproof as these.
