SUPERB

Warm, durable, excellent amount of padding
Haven't found one yet
Have used these for day walks for a few years. Have just walked the TMB using these with Bridgdale liners and they were superb. tried my smartwool one day but ended up changing back after an hour.

OK I suppose

Very durable and warm. Good underfoot padding.
Somewhat overpaddded on top and legs, causing overheating and wrinkling. A bit rough-feeling - definitely need a liner with these. Not very fitted.
These are fine but not nearly as good as Bridgedale socks, despite being more expensive. For a technical sock, they are somewhat under-designed; I would expect to see more variation in fibre and weave in the different parts of the sock for the best performance.
