VIRTUALLY BOMBPROOF - SUPERB TREWS
Brilliant windproofing Substantially waterproof for softshell trews Snowproof Tough Great at moisture management
Size of pockets - especially the thigh one Too hot for summer (but why would you be wearing them in snowdonia in August?)
Buy a a pair. Or three. Not sure how you'd improve on them - apart from the pockets.

VERY GOOD TROUSERS
Needed a descent pair of trousers for the colder weather in Scotland and went for the Base Jump Pants. Had them for a couple of years now and they are hardwearing and very comfy. They are a soft shell but not too heavy and whenever my legs get too hot which is not that often,,I open the 3 pockets,, one of them being on the right thigh,,the pockets all have a mesh liner and the air vents around the legs,,it works well.
£100 is a lot of money but these trousers will last for many years and they are very good quality.
Highly Recommended.
