At over £100 they are pricey
GREAT! dont pass these by they are so comfy and very very good at what they do for the money.

BREATHABLE PROTECTION
Quite a lot. They block most wind, a decent bit of water, and are super-breathable, even working hard on hot days. 4-way stretch works well for scrambling and the abrasion resistance is excellent - don't worry about scraping them on rock!
Not the lightest around, a slim cut on the waist won't suit everyone, and the thigh pocket isn't so useful.
Decent value for money, although the lack of crampon patches casts a slight shadow over the "four season" claim. I guess you could use them for winter below the snowline and with occasional crampon use, but I wouldn't like to wear them all day with the sharp things on. Magnificent 3 season softshell trousers, though, and I guess I'll just have to find out how well they run to winter use. Particularly great for UK scrambling.

VERY COMFORTABLE
These are excellent trousers for Autumn-winter-spring wear in the UK mountains - have found them very comfortable and hard wearing.
Zip tassles really not needed on a pair of trousers as you do not keep much stuff in the pockets.
Would recommend them to anyone.
