Works well as a base layer or on top of a base layer as it wicks well I think.

Stays dry longer and dries quick if it get a bit sweaty.

As someone has already mentioned it’s very thin, so Im unsure if it’s designed this way to dry quicker or not. So not too sure if this is a con!

Mine has taken a sever hammering in the wash as I often wear them at work in very hot climates, but in all fairness still looks not bad at all, a bit bubbly here and there but over all ok to wear for work.

Karrimor Air Space 25+5 Rucksack

Example of new generation of Air Cooled back system used by Karrimor. Similar in many respects to the Air Back system used by Lowe Alpine. Top Loading rucksack with stable carry and good air circulation. Zip expansion side pockets and large vertical front pocket and top pocket give plenty of storage space in other than the main compartment. Hydration compatible. Side compression straps and Walking Pole attachment point.

The Rucksack has no top tension straps so you cannot pull it in as close to the back/shoulders as on some models. The zips on the pockets are not waterproof but it does have a built in Rain cover. Some may consider it a tad heavey at 1300g. The back is non adjustable and only available in one size so need to check the fit prior to purchase.

Good value for money pack by a British based manufacturer that gives the lie to those who think that Karrimor no longer make good quality gear. The quality of manufacture seems to be on a par with the likes of Berghaus and Lowe Alpine.

This is the best and cheapest online store

I like it very much and the quality of this product is good. I have purchased army surplus from armysurplus365.co.uk, and this is simply the best I've ever shopped at. It looks really small from the outside but, as others have noted, it's exactly a labyrinth inside, with aisle upon twisting aisle of pretty much everything. Need fishing tackle, knives, ammo, camping gear, a portable potty? They've got it, and plenty more besides (I got a bit nostalgic seeing British Navy-issue sweaters like my dad used to wear back in the day when he was a Sailor).

Sure it's a bit grubby and disorganized but browsing their incredible collection of merchandise is super fun! Cool staff too. Prefer

A BIT OVER-PRICED FOR WHAT IT IS

Looks good. Works well enough, as it should for the money.

Material is nothing special. Quite expensive for what it is, and being Berghaus there is little chance of buying at a discount. Needs washing in non-biological powder according to label, which can be inconvenient.

As other reviewers have mentioned, this is quite short in length. The fabric is quite thin, which means it dries quickly, but it is prone to bobbling, especially so I would imagine if used with a rucksack.
