lovely kit:

I got this a couple of weeks ago and tested it out in Snowdonia, fell-running and hillwalking. Even on a warm day I could keep it on for the entire outing, pushing myself hard on steep uphill underneath a pack. The cooling aspect of having a mesh back, a very thin face fabric over the membrane and no arms really works well.

At the top of Moel Siabod, the cloud had closed in and the wind was blowing something nasty. Sitting into the wind the membrane blocked all the wind and kept my core temperature well regulated. Close-fitting, and the stretch seems to recover well. Funnily enough, I can see this being good on cold, dry winter days stretched over a fleece. Probably more versatile than it looks.
Hard to say. As typically I take a pack out the rear divided pocket is a bit useless, although I can see bikers really liking it. A brighter colour might have been nice, for better visibility.
Versatile, performs perfectly, very hard to fault. Another top piece of kit from Haglofs. I've not had it for very long, so no comments on reliability, but it feels pretty tough despite the light weight.
