Comfortable and lightweight, with a technical look (which I like, although others don't)

Lightweight
Dry quickly
Good venting
Enough pockets including security zip pocket
Ankle adjustment
Zip up to calf so can put on over boots
Good belt
A bit chilly if the wind gets up
I really like these trousers and they fit me well, but not for winter months (without something underneath)

Not for me - maybe its me? :(

light, robust, a lot of other people rate them
scratchy and irritating in the nether regions :(
cant seem to get comfortable in them. Had to get shot of my pair a couple of months after trying hard to get to like them.
Maybe its just me, a lone voice in the wilderness. The cruel world shows that others like them so much and yet laughs in my face. Where oh where can I get a pair of comfy, walking troos in a short leg that dont rub me raw in places I'd rather not mention? :(

Maybe these trousers are greta for some, bit alas, not for me

WELL DESIGNED

Careful design / tough / reliable / light.
A little thin - but that's because they're light....
A really good pair of hiking trousers. They're really comfortable in most conditions, dry quick from wet , breathe very nicely and are useable even when it gets very cold (as long as you supplement them with a decent pair of longjohns). Personally I can't stand trousers with zips that allow them to become a pair of shorts or what not - the main reason being that the extra zips always seem to be in the wrong place when lying or kneeling down. On the other hand, these trousers have such good venting options that they're wearable even when it's hot.

ANOTHER EXCELLENT MONTANE PRODUCT

Comfortable
Hard wearing
Excellent thigh venting
Quick drying
Black only option if you want single colour, which is makes them hotter in warm climes
Thigh pockets can easily shed coins and other stuff when sitting
Having to use techwash in attempt to maintain the DPW is a faff
Fine alround trekking trousers
