It's completely taint free, even after using flavoured energy drinks, which can leave a taste in some systems. The same goes for the tube. Long term use shows that mould never really gets a grip, even with some serious neglect.

Do you think it might be called the "Combust" due to all of the man-made nylon and polyester fibres in its weave then? One spark from a campfire or stove and you're up in flames combusting? Combust means after all 'burn or be burned by fire'! Flippin' odd name for a clothing garment line!

Easy to clean, fill, taint free, detachable hose works, and tough with it.
 
Bite valve is adequate rather than excellent, but still very useable.
