GREAT WALKING AXE!
Light enough to carry with ease but heavy enough to cut steps easily. Good looking. Many varying lengths. Grivel's great ice axe head.
Only basic rated. Not suitable for anything technical. No bend in the shaft making arrest slightly more difficult
I've found this axe excellent! It's very dependable. my main bit of advice is no to be tempted to buy one which is too short. This is a walking axe and I've found it is excellent as such when it will hang just a few inches above your ankle.
