Unstable and not as fast as you would think

It is compact
Heavy, not very adjustable, high centre of gravity
Unstable and not as fast as you would think - not worth the money

Ace water boiler

It excels at boiling water. Mine still has a working spark.
Can be unstable. NEVER cook food in it! Takes forever to clean and burns too quickly.
Ace bit of kit that I wouldn't be without. Used more for car camping as a little bulky but overall I'm happy with it.

Nothing better as a lightweight compact fast water boiler

Compact, auto-ignition, very fast boiler
You can't cook in it as food burns on the bottom of the pot
Superb for brew-stops and for warmign boil in the bag meals, but if you like any other type of meal, then you will struggle as the pot shape isn;t conducive to real cooking

GREAT FOR BOILING WATER, THAT'S ALL

Compact
Very fast to boil
Fairly windproof
Economical on gas
Only really effective boiling the cup half full
Hard to cook anything except water successfully
Unstable unless you have the additional base
Expensive
The best thing there is for a quick brew or for heating water for rehydrating food or heating boil in bag meals, but that's it. I've carried it for a few years now for family brew-ups on day walks and it is truly excellent at that, but for backpacking trips I'd take a gas Trangia. Get the tripod base legs as well or it will fall over when you least want it to !
