I lioke this piece of kit but seldom use it now

bombproof
windshield, pans, handles, burner all in one neat package
easy to use, hard to abuse cooks well for meths
Heavy and bulky, needs to be padded to stop rattles
A reliable cookset / stove that is ideal for youth groups

Still crazy after all these years - one of my oldest bits of kit

bombproof
windshield, pans, handles, burner all in one neat package
easy to use, hard to abuse
cooks well for meths
heavy man!
takes up a lot of volume in the pack
superceded by the new generation of lightweight meths burners
One of my first bits of kit way back when....Carried this beast around with me religiously during my teens on DofE expeditions. It works, its virtually indestructible and I actually bought it for £4 second hand :)
I havent used it for a long long time but sentimentaity has prevented me from throwing it out and so it remains in my gear loft until called upon again
It really isnt a lightweight backpacking option but if you want bombproof and are prepared to carry a little extra weight, it is a neat working all in one package

UTTERLY BOMB PROOF

Works every time. Efficient. Flexible. Little kettle is great for a brew. Big enough for a group/family cooking.
It's heavy compared to other options. Meths stinks!
Amazingly simple design that just keeps on working. Used them on DofE and when came back to outdoors pursuits was the first stove I looked at. Love it.

AWESOME!

Lightweight, you dont need anythign else other then a knife fork and spoon
It fairly large but without flexible pans you couldent do ny better. Fairly pricy
Gret sto, i use it with the gas burner which is great too. Really good little stove cannot fault it.

LESS TO GO WRONG .

No moving parts ,light with pans ,easy to knock back into shape ,hard to dangle clothing by the flame.
The search for good meths at a reasonable price.
Had mine for over twenty years and it's still going strong. BIG TIP. Buy a flint and steel ,as the sparks from a modern bar light meths fist time whatever the weather ,even from half a metre away!
