A great torch for little money

Has numerous options - bright, red, green, flashing, plus rear
Has a top strap, to aid stability
Battery case on the rear to aid weight distribution
Fairly bright
Battery case not the easiest to open
No battery life indicator
For the money this is amazing. I also have a Petzl Tikka XP and the difference is negligible in performance terms. When you factor in the price difference their is no comparison

Fantastic value for money

Excellent value for money
Comfortable
Long battery life
Lots of modes
Can't turn the torch on straight to a red light mode
This is a great headtorch and it costs £30 or so less than its competitors. The battery life is excellent, it's comfortable to wear and the various different modes come in really handy, especially the red and green LEDs. I've worn it for walking and running, as well as for going up in the loft and other household jobs, and it's given me great service every time. The only niggle is that you can't switch the torch straight on onto a red light. You have to turn it on with the white light showing and then cycle through to red. This is a minor point though, and you can easily cover the LEDs and press the orange button the correct number of times before moving your hand away. Overall, this torch is fantastic value.

Great torch for the money! Hard to beat really..

Cheap, effective and comfy to wear.
Very little really. However mine got soaked and the main switch is now playing up. i.e. It's not switching the lights in proper sequence now.
An absolute bargain! Buy them as xmas presents for your friends!

Unbelievable value

Versatile beam options including full beam, single LEDs and colour choice
Rear light with flashing option
Batteries last forever
Very well made
Red light should cycle on first
The best headtorch I have ever used for peanuts money. Same performance and qualty as one costing five times as much. I bought a job lot of them and my son gives them to his freinds as birthday presents.

Form & Function

It is a high quality piece of kit

Form and Function meeting in harmony, to produce bright light.

Because it is from those lovely people at Alpkit, who are friendly and ethical and are not fleecing you.

Just a small criticism, around the fiddle of getting the lights to work from the button sequence.
When a company such as Alpkit offer you something, it is a reassurance that they are not fleecing you for huge profits and feeding greed. This point alone is worthy of the item. Added to this is the outstanding quality of the merchandise, which is overall of a very high standard and believe me I would not buy tick tack. This item becomes a trusted reassurance to you in may a dark situations. £12.50 including free postage...you must be a nutter to buy Petzl or Ledlenser.
