Compact and handy

Light pocket torch that is handy to have kicking about. I use mine from time to time. To be honest headtorches outshine this sirt of technology now
Dated
Handy but not as usefull as a headtorch

TOP SMALL LIGHTWEIGHT TORCH

lightweight, same bulb as AA size maglite, small - lttle difference in size from the average pen, even comes with a little clip so you can clip it to the top of your pocket. Reliable, Quality
will throw a tantrum and burn your bulbs if you but in batterys that it does not like so stick to energisers. difficult to operate with gloves on, they seem rather expensive in the UK. not epecially powerful
its great if your going out an the evening and will need a torch to help find your way home, its small and lightweight so you don't really notice that you are carrying it.

I would not use it for serious usage where i'd really need to rely on it or take it travelling, only because the batteries do not last as long as AA's or larger, often it is more difficult to find places that sell AAA batteries especially in less developed areas (AA's are more common).

probably never eally intended for serious usage but is still of the legendary maglite reliability and quality.

LIGHTWEIGHT TORCH THOUGH NOT FOR USE WITH GLOVES

Very lightwieght, including batteries, being made of aluminium. Very good quality for its price- waterproof and very durable. Very useful spare bulb in rear end.
Can be rather awkward to switch on and off when wearing gloves. My torch has a tendancy to burn the bulb when changing batteries. Not very powerful due to the battery size.
Good value for money, though for a bit extra cash it would be worth it buying the AA Maglite which though heavier and bigger is more powerful.
