Fantastic!

Robust, simple, reliable .
Ok not the lightest and is quite 'hungry' when it comes to batteries
Have been using mini mags for many years for both pleasure and in work. Out walking over the New year break in 2006 my mini mag got dropped into a river pool, Llygaid Llwchwr, with the water clouded it was gone. When next up at this place 8 months later we noticed a cord lanyard in the gravel of the pool, retrieving it with branch I regained my torch, took it home, put in new batteries and the torch worked perfectly! Unbelievable ! Always in my rucksack now as a fallback due to its reliability.

For work with the adjustable beam, available accessories and its reliability and robustness its been priceless.

SOLID, RELIABLE ILLUMINATION

Highly water-resistant (has survived being dropped in the garden pond). Shock resistant - yes I've dropped mine several times...

Bright adjustable focus

Spare bulb in base
Quite heavy and eats batteries
Okay it eats batteries compared to LED lights, but this provides a stronger beam than all but the best LED torches. It's not cheap but will last for years of abuse.
