I got one of these years ago before LEDs caught on, not a bad tiny torch but not very bright and eats batteries (as do all tiny halogen torches), I have a single AAA LED torch now that is lighter, much brighter Continue reading...

Are you talking about the same one that uses a triple A battery and has a Krypton bulb? Or have they finally made an LED version of this?

I have been looking for a drop in LED mod for mine for a while now. I've had one since the mid 90's. The size is good but the light its pretty weak and lame. It's not even bright enough to know where you're peeing in the dark. I was thinking that it would be unlikely that they'd be able to make an LED mod for it without somehow being able to boost the voltage so it would mean some sort of 3v battery or greater in size no bigger than AAA form, otherwise making a bigger main body for it, but then it wouldn't be the same size flashlight anymore.
