WELL MADE

Adjustment, Key clip, storage capacity.
Its too big for a bum bag, too small for a day sack alternative. Unless you really want to go light. Has a tendancy to slip down and act as a Bum Sling
I am sure that for cycling and for use on valley walks it's ok. It's a half way house that doesn't really do what you expect.

SMALL BUT PERFECTLY FORMED

Stable carry with good adjustment, well thought out, solid construction.
Bottle pouches can be tricky to use when worn
As you might expect from the North Face, this is a reliable, well designed product. It won't suit everyone, but for small day walking loads, trekking, city tourism or biking, this has been a great asset for me. Worked well from day biking in the UK to jeep touring in Tunisia. Handles 2 bottles, a first aid kit, waterproof, food and spares with ease, while adjusters can pull in the load and adjust the fit. Small touches like a zip compartment, inner mesh divider, key clip, reflective panels and grap handle complete the package.
