Good basic pack

sturdy and easy to pack
relatively heavy, side pockets a bit something and nothing
a good entry level pack, sometimes they have the shoulder tensioner straps (there must be a technical term but I don't know it) and the pack is much better if the ydo. Could do with hip belt pockets for access on the move.

comfortable Durable Good pocket design

Loads of room and lets you wear the weight comfortably
Bit too bulky for scrambling
I've had this for about 6 years and used it for year round day walks in the hills, scrambles and a few weekends away. Its extremely comfortable and have used it in many long days including a 24 hour hike with no comfort issues or irritation.

Plenty of room with side pockets, exit hole for hydration tube, internal pocket in the lid to keep valuables etc. No wear issues, zips have in my memory never even snagged once. Doesn't even look particularly used and has been through it all, very dependable bag.

GREAT DAY PACK

I find this pack very comfortable even after 7/8hrs of continuous wear. The raincover works and folds away well and the zip pocket under the lid works well for keys and mobile as it stays dry.
I don't find that the 'air chimney' keeps me any drier than a flat foam back - but maybe I sweat more than normal?
I've been super pleased with this pack since buying it. Its been to the summit of the three highest peaks in the UK (in typical british rain and wind and fog) as well as countless other hikes/climbs across the UK and abroad.

ITS A BAG AFTER ALL

good design
well built
no extra bells and whistles
the active cool back system seems to work
always use a liner in a daysack just in case! this bag did not need one
its a good bag for day trekking, has good daisy chains for clipping on my camelbak. side and top pockets are big enough for all of the basic stuff, first aid kit, spare batteries etc
