COMFORTABLY TOUGH

Had this pack for a couple of years now, and have a number of other similar sacs (Karrimor, Beghaus, Patagonia) but always come back to this one. Use it most weeks and find it very comfortable. The fact you can buy different lengths is a bonus. Material is hard as old nails, and has all the regular features you'd expect.
Some will say i am picky, but...
while it has an internal hydration pocket an easier route for the hose out of the sac would be good
the shockcord can be a bit fiddly, and;
an interankl pocket for valueables would be a useful addition
having said all that this is a great sac! It has never once felt awkward to wear, is well balanced on your back and for such a relatively modest size youi can carry an awful lot in comfort (over-nighted easily with all the necessary kit). While the price might seem high you just know it will be years before you are tempted/forced to buy a replacement

TOUGH AND DURABLE, BUT NOT FOR BLOATERS!

Had it about a year now and it is wearing well.
Bombproof - it was blown off the North Glen Shiel Ridge last month and survived its trip dowmn the mountain intact. Very weatherproof. The bungee is good for carrying a map.
Not much room in the hip belt- I am a biggish lad and it is a struggle to do it up with winter kit on. Six more inches on the belt would be better.
Peeling outer fabric on the snow guard under the lid.
A good piece of kit that is ideal for all-year round Munroing, scrambling etc. Hip belt needs a few extra inches.

FAB!!

Very very durable, weather proof and comfy. Large lid pocket for loosing things in. Good adjustment of fit. Seems to be a tardis as i never ever seem to run out of space. The compression straps on the side are useful for days when you are wearing all the stuff you normally carry and also will take the macpac modules.
I don't like the hydration pocket as it makes the sac sit incorrectly on my back but hydration pack tube hole is useful. Pricey but then you get what you pay for. Some people would perhaps prefer a more advanced back system but for me its great.
An excellent sac, although pricey (unless you get your dearly beloved to buy it for your birthday). YOu can feel and see the quality of the sac and know that it will be a long long time until you can start studying the catalogues again for a new one! Its gained a 'great' for value based on its life span being longer than mine!

SOLID

Solid, comfortable, excellent fit.
Takes being totally overloaded very well.
Features well thought through: internal hydration sleeve and tube hole work very well.
No gear loops on belt.
Very good as a day cragging sac. Pack it properly and you hardly notice you're wearing it. Makes long approaches and one nighters much more comfortable.

OOZES QUALITY

Quality of workmanship.
Comfortable harness.
Extremely weatherproof.
Feels indestructable.
hmm...
You might consider £70 a bit pricey for a 35L sack, but on closer inspection you get to really appreciate that it's worth every penny. It oozes build quality and when worn, it's easy to forget you're wearing it, well, almost!
The fabric is extremely weatherproof and the combination of Aztec and Kevlar fabrics make this sack feel like it's indestructable!
