Very comfortable and spacious.

Seems bigger that the 38l its supposed to be. Lid pocket is HUGE. Uncluttered. Ergo Pull hip belt is great.
Hmmm. Nothing really. If I was pushed I'd say the lid cover is a little strange in how it fits.
I wasnt going out to buy this pack. I wanted a Talon 44 for winter walking, but after a chat with the assistant he suggested I try the Mutant. As soon as I tried it on it was comfortable. The backpanel isnt what Ive been used to having used a ventilated back for much of the last few years, but having used it a few times now it is surprising how comfortable it is and how the flat back helps with packing.

Speaking of packing the sack must be bigger than 38l! I can get all my winter kit in and more easily, and I used to struggle with my old 35+8 pack.

The ergo pull hip belt is also a simple but ingeneous feature that I really like - it makes getting the fit right so much easier.

Not sure about the integral bivi pad, but its useful on lunch stops!
