What a great pack for multiday or winter backpacking. The huge volume, coupled with the lightweight and simplicity make this a great alround pack. Use of the side compression straps and clips enables this pack Continue reading...
A great introduction to framless packs. Light weight and comfortable. Continue reading...

I stated Lejog with this pack in 2010.It fell to pieces before I reached Chepstow. The shoulder strap stiching pulled out and I had to fish the strap throuh a hole and Knot it. The so called stiff interior plastic stuff collapsed and turned into a corrigated sheet. And no,the pack was not overloaded. My wife met me with my old Lowe Alpine Appalachian 60+15 wich was heavier, but for more comforable to carry, and I completed the rest of the walk with it.I would avoid these lightweight gimmicks in future. They are just not robust enough. 2 stars

Bummer. Chris Townsend had problems with his 2010 Pinnacle too.  He rated the older onefor durabilty though

I have an older one (2007/8?) which has done hundreds of miles and is hardly worn.

The back 'stiffener' is pretty useless - I use a loosely rolled karrimat as a 'tube frame' or a folded thermarest

Anyone has a good word to say about it?
