GREAT BAG

Ive got the endurance version, which i think is a huge improvment on the standard, even for the 50g extra weight. Water reisitant outer, amazing weight to warmth ratio, great loft, boxed foot works well, can cope with anything that the britsih ilse can throw at it all year around, even in scotland.
A little warm in good weather but the 3/4 length soon sorts that one out. The other problem is that the inner fabric of the bag is soooo nice that you won't want to sleep in your silk liner, because it won't be as soft, and so you'll end up having to wash the bag more often! lol. Being down you have to be careful about getting the bag wet, but without it being down it couldn't achieve the weight to warmth ratio.
Fantastic bag for all the reasons above. There just isn't anything as good anywhere else on the market. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but I definitely think you get your moneys worth. The truth is that good bags arent cheap.

LIGHT WARM - SUPERB QUALITY

Mine is the endurance which addresses some of the other comments made about the bag. A superb quality down product which more than enough for the British Isles

LIGHT, WARM, PACKS DOWN WELL

Used it walking from Land's to John O'Groats for 3 months(ish) - haven't really tested it in the cold though. As usual with down bags, if it's warm you can use it as a duvet and move some down to the outside of the bag. Packs down well. The Quantum fabric feels softer than usual Pertex - nice.... No problems in three months' use.
I've been warned that the Quantum fabric doesn't have the strength of usual Pertex (especially the internal wall stitching) so great care needed when washing - best to send it to a professional. Also, because the Quantum is thin you can smell the down a bit more (like a dog that's just come in from the rain). Also, no-one seems to have invented a down bag that doesn't leak down.
Unless you go for a customised bag, at the moment this is probably the ultimate sleeping bag.

BRILLIANT

Light, warm, just great.
Can't think of any other than the price!
I've used this a lot since I got it last year and it is great. Very warm but not too hot for decent weather conditions. I was worried about damp and a down bag (especially as I camp in a Hilleberg Akto) and got the Endurance version, but this really hasn't been a problem at all on my 10 to 5 day hikes (normally involving some hostels, admittedly, which gives it a chance to dry out completely). Used with a 3/4 length Thermarest, I get a good night's sleep in this.
