great pack size, very versatile bag

packs down very small,I have yet to encounter anyone with a smaller packed bag. Lofts quickly in most conditions. inner pocket is useful & your stuff wont fall out. Keeps you warm & enough room for me not to feel claustrophobic.

I have used this bag in below zero (-4) conditions & I was still plenty warm enough wearing a thin base layer. I have a silk liner but have only rarely used it.
Fabric can get a little clammy in hot conditions but for a bag that will go below zero thats not bad. As already noted the zip baffle can get caught easily. Thin layer of down means you need to be careful lofting the underside of the bag.
a great bag that I have used for past 3 years, it served me well on a 3 month trip round Europe when touring on my motorbike,it dealt with temperatures from +5 to +35 on that trip where I camped almost every night. I have also used it at Easter near Stonehenge at -3 & recently in November in Germany at -4.
Packs very small & quickly & so far has shown no signs of wear, a top piece of kit.

Very light, packs down to the size a bit bigger than a bag of sugar. Fine for 3 season use. I have used it down to about 3 Deg C. Full zip makes it more comfortable when its the temperature is in double figures.
a little snug I'm 5'11" and weigh about 16 stone.
For me personally I would have been cold in it below 3 DegC
Good value for money considering the performance and pack size. I paid £160
Can be used most year round in Britain or Ireland and at 1800M in May on the Picos so its versatile.
Although it has a comfort rating of zero I think 3 DegC is still very good as people feel the cold differently.

FANTASTIC

Probably the lightest bag for the money going. It's kept me warm to around freezing with my baselayers on, it's saved me over half a kilo in my kit, it's water resistant, it's my favorite bag and I'm ashamed to say I have five.
Could do with a 3/4 length zip to save weight and make it easier to use it as a quilt in summer. Mine weighs 545 grams on the calibrated scales at work but that's still lighter than any other bag I can find on the internet
A surprisingly robust lightweight sleeping bag that's great value which is close to faultless in my opinion; seems kind of strange it doesn't have a better rating.

A GREAT LIGHTWEIGHT 3-SEASON BAG

Light
Warm
Small pack size
Zip can snag
Pricey
I already had the Quantum 350 so I was already aware of how good Cumulus bags are. I bought the Quantum 200 to save a bit of weight in warmer conditions.

The Quantum 200 is an excellent bag. It weighs only 495g yet is comfortable down to freezing point, although I haven't actually used it in such a temperature. What is remarkable about the bag is how comfortable it is over a range of temperatures. I sleep very cold and only ever wear a light silk base layer in my bag, yet I have never overheated or been cold in this bag. The Pertex fabric is extremely comfortable next to the skin and the bag is pretty roomy so you don't get the claustrophobic feeling of some narrower bags.

The full-length zip can snag but you soon get used to keeping your thumb between the zip puller and the baffle and it's only a minor drawback. The bag is also quite expensive but you get what you pay for.

Cumulus is not a very well known brand but their bags are up there with the best offerings from Rab, Mountain Equipment, Marmot etc.

WARM AND LIGHT

Very light, although I think mine weighs a bit more than quoted (though not too sure how accurate my scales are)
Warm for the weight, have used this below freezing with with only baselayers.
Slightly short, I am 6'1 and would not like to use this bag if I was any taller - on cold nights I have to curl up slightly so the hood can loft.
As above zip can snag quite a bit if you are not careful.
A good bag, although not quite as good as I expected as the fill power is measured in the USA (only says once you search around their site) - so still good quality but not as comparable to PHD's 900 down as I expected it to be.
It seems quite wide cut for me (average size) so I can add in extra layers when its really cold.
As the down is quite sparse - I find this bag is effected my how humid the air is - I have found to be very cold at about 5C when it was very humid. But when it has been dry I have had no trouble using this bag slightly below 0C.
The materials do feels slightly flimsy but nothing has gone wrong with them yet. (Used it for probably 30 nights)
