WARM AND COMFORTABLE

I've never been cold in this bag
Because of the extra room and the elasticated sides its very comfortable
Feels and looks of good quality
Not a bag for minimilists but not too bulky
I use this bag mainly for British Irish cold winter conditions but have also used it in a summer bivy above a glacier near in the Alps always been comfortable and warm
I have had no problems with Down leakage

I have not confirmed its minimum temperature perfomance of-12DegC
with a thermometer but I have always felt condfident of its performance

OK NOT SURE ABOUT THE LEAKAGE

Good design features, like zip that extends across feet, zip doesn't appear to jam no matter which awkward position you pull the zip from. Warm although will know better when I actually test it this winter. Good size mesh net for storage, bag wasn't compressed when I got it, loosely packed in plastic.

Not happy with down leakage, which is happening without me even getting into it. TDS system while a good idea makes the bag very difficult to pack down. ME customer service.

Mountain Equipment customer service is frankly crap! Why have a contact email address on your website if you never reply to any questions. Asked them to confirm any new details on the 2006 model no reply. Asked them to confirm where it was made no reply. If down leakage doesn't stop, might actually have to return it so doesn't feel me with any confidence when they can't be bothered to reply to simple questions. Before buying a terra-nova tent I emailed customer service to ask about the 2006 Quasar as their website wasn't current and they sent me detailed documentation within 24 hours by email, that's service. Sort your act out ME, if you charge premium prices then put together premium customer service.

Value-poor as customer service crap
