Good bag and can recommend it .Think hard about spending 2 or 3 times as much for a down bag.

GOOD DOWN BAG FOR THOSE ON A LIMITED BUDGET

At under one kilo, lighter than most synthetics with a comparable temperature rating.
Small pack size.
Very affordable.

leaks a wee bit of down, nothing too drastic though.
A 60% top/40% bottom fill ratio means that you need to turn inside the bag rather than with the bag if you want to stay warm when rolling over to sleep on your belly.
can get a wee bit damp coming into contact with condensation-saturated walls on a single skin tent.
I bought the venom 300 about a year ago and have used it around thirty times so far this year. I find the temperature rating to bee a bit optimistic. Although it's rated down to 4 degrees, I found that whenever the temperature dropped into single figures i was starting to struggle for warmth. I do use a single skin tent with a draughty venting system (vango ultralite 100) and another with a full mesh inner(msr hubba) though. While it probably won't perform to the same level as more expensive down bags of a simliar weight it'll most likely outperform most synthetics in its weight class. A tiny bit of down leaks out during use, coming mainly from the stitching seams, but is of no real concern. I really like the venom 300 bag. At the seventy-five pounds I paid for mine, a bargain.

VERY GOOD VALUE AND PERFORMANCE FOR THE MONEY

Boxwall construction means no coldspots, packsize is amazingly small and unusually for a down bag it has compression straps. Good neck baffle, short zip is easy to use and vent. zip guard flap is reinforced.
Materials are not all that downproof but do a good job. Will snag on any rough skin so i find socks area good idea. Very hard to pack into stuffsack being vango they undersize everything.
Very good 3 season bag, don't get it wet and it won't let you down.
