GREAT IDEA TO HAVE COMBINED STUFF-SACK, COMPRESSION AND DRY-BAG, BUT NOT COMPLETELY WATERPROOF.
Super-convenient stuff-sac, compression spider and dry-bag all in one.
The bag is not completely waterproof. To be fair to Pod, the label inside does say it's "ideal for keeping your gear dry in any potentially damp or wet environment, where the bag is not submerged."
Mine was in the base compartment of a rucksack, and after a day of torrential rain the base compartment had leaked slightly. The sleeping bag had a couple of damp patches on the outer fabric, but nothing serious enough to effect performance.
I've been looking for something like this for years and was generally very pleased with it. I guess the fact that I'm now buying another one for a bigger sleeping bag says it all...
