WARM AND WELL MADE

Warm, works comfortably within it's rated range.
Velcro on neck baffle is difficult to use, it's not a light bag for backpacking.
Have had mine for 3/4 years now and it has served very well from February in the UK to Summer in Europe. It's a bit warm for European summers but good for all round UK use. Required some extra clothing when the temperature dips below -5 but is fine within comfort temps.

GOOD 3-SEASON BAG

Lightweight synthetic bag that packs down well and fits easily into my 65L rucksack. Very good at reflecting body heat when the temperature is cold. Good hood coverage.
The bags extreme temperature rating is -12C but I have spent nights when the temperature has maybe only dropped to -6C and i started to shiver quite alot.
A good summer bag that will last from the end of May through to the start of October.
It can get too warm in the summer, but all you need to do is unzip it to let some fresh air in.

A GOOD BAG, BUT LACKING UNDERNEATH.

This is a light bag and packs small.
The baffle at the neck has velcro fastenings which irritate because of their position, the zip is not smooth and the zip baffle often gets caught. Strings for adjusting hood can overwhelm you when pulled tight.
A good value bag, but time to move on to something more practically thought out and I will defnitely lie down and try it in the store to see how it goes first before commiting.

GOOD BAG

Lightweight and packs small. Great backpacking bag.
Not to keen on the single filled layer on the underside needs a good sleeping mat.
Would be a good bag if it had a double filled layer on the underside.

HMMM NICE [|:-)

as above
as above (especially the snag-prone zip)

Obviously I paid far too much!
This bag has seen me right through quite a few treks.
It is flexible enough for
Hot nights (just kip on top of the bag)
Cold nights (get the hood up & zip up)
Inbetweens
(just use the venting to get a good balance)

I like the extra layer on the back of the bag - it sort of adds an extra layer of padding.
