Used for my first bivvying experience on a quick stop out just off the Watkin path. I'd use it again!
Packs down small and is lightweight. The volume means the potential for cold air spots is minimised, keeping you warm throughout the night. I stayed warm and dry all night despite being woken up by a bit of a shower on my face. The Hunka fits the bill when it comes to price, no faff and does the job it's supposed to!
Due to the snug fit there isn't much room for gear, I used a spare heavy duty rucksack liner I had to cover my bag for the night, keeping my head torch, boots and map in the Bivvy bag. Alpkit now sell an XL version for those desperate to put some more gear in or are slightly on the broader side. The Hunka isn't made out of your traditional waterproof membrane so its durability on a night of heavy rain could come under question.
Another Alpkit gem! Good price, great functionality and the option for a larger bag in the XL model. Waterproof enough for an emergency stop out, a sleeping bag cover or to add some extra warmth on a cold night. For the price you couldn't ask for much more.
