Green ripstop nylon hooded no-nonsense sleeping bag cover.
Lightweight-300g
Good length- accomodates a 6 footer comfortably
Very waterproof
Good shape- well designed hood
Very quiet material
Solid construction
I have seen this marketed as breathable- It is assuridly not at all.
The drawcord webbing sticks in the conduit making it hard to close the hood down.
The drawcord material itself catches on the smallest of burs, the loose weave of the cord then allows the material to unwind to give the appearance of a green furry snake.
Potentially a good design but let down by poor materials and product testing.
Would make a good waterproof sleeping bag cover.
The ratings may be a bit unfair, it does the job in the rain and wind and has potential if only Highlander would invest more in their materials.
