this tent withstood a hurricane in New Zealand, lake rose 15 feet, wind and rain horizontal. only after 4 days was it starting to get a bit clammy. people say about condensation but this is only on the inside of the fly, like most others. i have now had this tent 10 years, lots of use, and it's never let me down. a fantastic, high quality, totally reliable tent.
nothing.
this is a very expensive tent and if i had not seen it at an exhibition in 1999, and realised it was exactly what i wanted, (and been a bit flush with cash at the time) i would have been put off by the price. having owned one now for 10 years, it is the best i've ever owned. extremely easy to erect - inner and outer together, very roomy, (and you can cook in the vestibule), and most important, totally reliable in all weather conditions. this is an all-weather tent.

'SIMPLY THE BEST'!

Quick & easy to pitch, Plenty of porch space to stow gear & cook, feels secure & stable in windy conditions. The tent stayed put on a very windy night on the WHW, when other tents appeared to be doing kite impressions!
The price! - Even though I got 20% off mine, I still try not to think about it! Also, the condensation - experienced most nights, even with all vents open.
A cracking tent, despite the price tag ('price?, what price?'!) & condensation niggles, still the best tent I've ever owned

HOME FROM HOME

Fabulous little confidence inspiring haven when your miles from home and the weather gets evil. Warm, roomy. light and has plenty gear and cooking room. Quick an simple to pitch without inner getting wet.
You have to tension well to get good pitch and keep the end vents wide open to manage the condensation as its so warm with a down to ground flysheet seal all round. More pockets in the inner would be good.
If 4 season lightweight travel worldwide is your bag this should be your first choice of shelter.

NEAR PERFECT SET OF COMPROMISES FOR A ONE-MAN TENT.

The space. Ease and speed of erection - even when you,re cold, tired, wet, and have overdone it and don't really want to bend down. The space. The snug, smug feeling you get when the whether is vile. The space.
Getting the tensions right is a problem. The price, although I can't think where I would compromise to get the price down :)

Condensation, what condensation ? It just it just hasn't happened to me, even when I zip down and cook in the porch.
Great tent. Difficult to praise too much. 6 nights in the Cairngorms this year above 800m, including one above 1200m, and I simply never worried. I don't think that it got really tested, but it just didn't really occur to me to doubt that it could cope with whatever happened. If you can afford it, get it.
