Good low priced bivvy option

light
robust
grippy material
very water resistant
cheap
packs up small
not completely waterproof (it is DWR)
no bug netting
simple closure
not the biggest dimensions
A reasonably priced lightweight very water resistant bivvy. Have used this under a tarp with no issues whatsoever. Its a teeny bit of a risk if using this on its own and you get truly awful weather. Having said that it does what it says on the tin and is a perfect starter bivvy for those who wish to try it out.

COULD BE THE BEST BIT OF KIT I OWN.

Lightweight, cheap, waterproof, breathable, packs small, now available in black.
Hood fit can be a problem. Slugs seem to love it too.
Originally bought this to combat condensation in a truly awful single skin tent and found it so good that I ditched the tent and became a bivi man. I love this bag. Please Rab, make a zip version.

FOR THE ODD NIGHT OUT - JUST THE TICKET

Lightweight - better to have in the sack than the old orange survival bag. Still favour the tent for multiple nights, but great for a lightweight wander.
Not sure I'd fancy it in an absolute downpour - and try not to think of body bags....
For the occassional bivvy-ist, this is the biz. Won't bankrupt you and an ideal companion.

QUITE NICE REALLY

Cost, usability, size and weight
Does not recieve digital TV signals
I used this on a nice fine summer night and it was not too hot.

Spent ages with my head out watching the sun go down and then the stars come out.

Had no condensation.

Much nicer than carrying 1.5kg of tent.

BRILLIANT FOR THE WEIGHT AND PRICE

none yet
Great bivi bag for the price. It is extremely waterproof and breathable. Never used a Goretex bivi bag, but I'd guess this is better due to the weight + low bulk and the price.
