none major ones really, can be a bit difficult to put up in wind
excellent lightweight mountain tent. Great colour and pretty cheap especially if you look around for deals.

EXCELLENT LIGHTWEIGHT TENT

Weight is great, pitched correctly it's roomy for its size and comfortable with a useful sized porch.
Agree with others, the supplied pegs are ok in nice firm soil (mind you don't lose them!) and the glued on yellow cap has come off one or two making them not very usable! No good for loose gravelly terrain etc - recommend good sturdy titanium pegs.
Used it on a 116 mile solo hike in western Greenland in summer - was great given its weight but glad I took better pegs! Porch was just big enough for my big pack, boots and a stove at the end of a rainy day. In Iceland it got seriously battered by strong winds - flapped like a pair of knickers on a line, didn't get much sleep but it stood up to it. Wouldn't push it too far though!

LIGHT WEIGHT, SMALL PACK SIZE AND QUICK TO PITCH

Lightweight
Small pack size
Quick to pitch* (can be a weakness though)

Pegs - are tiny and even with a yellow coating of paint, I still seem to lose them. They are too flimsy as well on rocky ground. Buy sturdy pegs, got mine from alpkit.

*Tent Flapping, this can be real problem if do not pitch the tent just right it will take some practice but is worth it for a good nights sleep. I have added extra guy ropes, which will help with the tent flapping and keep the tent more stable in the wind
This tent is great no doubts about it started to use this instead of a bivi bag as it was only 300g heavier but much more comfortable. Plus i can just squeeze in my two dogs.

And it has a nice sized porch for gear and cooking, which is great when you are getting ready in the morning and is raining.

LIGHT / TINY / TOUGH

- Tiny pack size make it ideal for back-packing - also incredible light you won't notice it's there.

- Enough space for me. I'm 6'2 and can sleep stretched out (just about) - Bend your knee's a little and there's loads of room. I wouldn't like to have another person in with me though :)

Plenty more space for backpack in or outside the tent too. Porch area is great for cooking, and you don't have to leave the comfort zone of your sleeping bag :)

- More than capable of standing up to strong winds. Spent 4 nights in the lakes with constant heavy rain and very strong gusts. It wasn't even pitched that well, but stayed up.

- Quick / easy to put up.

- Not yet experienced any condensation. Both ends are well aired.
- Carbon pegs. To be honest, not used them, but I don't trust them as they are aren't very long, and look like they will just come out too easy. Replaced mine with some cheapies.

- Flaps a lot in high winds making it rather noisy. Not sure if this is down to poor pitching, or just how it is...it's annoying anyway and I'd like to make it less noisy.

- Heavy wind / rain pushes outer against inner. It didn't actually drip on me, but you would get a get a wet head if you sat up against it. Again, I didn't have it pitched great, and it was terrible weather, but just something to be aware of.

- One of the inner elastic cords (that you peg down) has frayed - will contact Terra Nova about this and see if they can do anything.
Would still buy this over any other 1 person lightweight tent - it's great, but I probably need more practise pitching it to perform at its best.
