NICE IDEA POORLY EXECUTED
Very roomy porch
Stands up well to high winds
Very quick to pitch
Relatively light
Poor build quality
Condensation problems
Broke after 3 weeks
Expensive for what you get
First the pros. This is a very roomy tent. It stood up to rain and wind well and when able to pitch inner and outer together it pitches very quickly. Unfortunately though I had to send mine back after just 3 weeks of use.
The problems started with the first tent that was sent out. This was not stitched properly (one of the pole sleeves was not attached fully to the outer) which already had me suspicious but I was sent a new one promptly to use instead. Again the stitching quality seemed very low with bits of material sticking out in places.
Another problem I noted was condensation. A lot of water built up in the inner (in summer but not in the UK). This either dripped off the toggle in the porch onto my things in the porch or even worse dripped onto the tent inner and into it through the vents. This is presumably a design flaw which might be solvable with a steep roof design.
Finally the major problem occurred towards the end of the trip when the feeble outer zip, which is completely unprotected, broke meaning the tent would not zip up. I met a French person on a campsite with exactly the same problem.
This tent seems to have suffered from attempts to build it very cheaply and as light as possible to the point where it is not up to heavy use, despite the pricetag.

Very solid mountain tent.
Stable design
Highly waterproof
Bathtub flooring
Nice lightweight pegs
Plenty of guying points
Large porch
Relatively lightweight
Small inside
Tapers towards the end
This is an excellent 2 person tent. Ideal for mountain use and high camping due to its stable design and quality materials.
I am 6" 3 and I can just about fit in it, my camping buddy being 6"4 can also but together its gonna be a tight squeeze. Thank god we are good pals I guess!
