FRUSTRATING

Easy to pitch, tent very waterproof, spacious (I can get my Touring bike under the fly)
Groundsheet is too thin and is inadequate for a tent of this specification.
Mine leaked badly after a short squall.
A disappointing tent, and there will always be a doubt about the groundsheet.
The old cotton force tens had a "proper" groundsheet!!

VERY GOOD TENT, GOOD VALUE, SPACIOUS FOR TWO

Has withstood some very strong weather over the four years I,ve had mine ,the Highlands last April being the strongest test. Can open the two entrances for a good through draft in the heat.
In driving rain the tent needs to have some pieces of extra groundsheet cut in strips to line front porch as it comes in along the bottom.
This is a very good tent for two car camping, very nice sleeping area combined with enough space to sit out a stormy day or two. It has never leaked even in extreme weather

PERFECT PLACE TO REST YOUR HEAD.

Well made, reasonably light for the size, stands up well to all kinds of weather. The capacious porch is superb for stowing all kinds of kit.
If you're used to the simplicity of dome tent erection then this tent might test your patience until you get the hang of it.
Good value for money. I'd say you'd have to be very very good friends to get 3 in. palacial for 2. Has never let me down in 3 years of use. I am one of these people who just has to say 'tent' and the heavens open and the wind picks up - so I can verify that it's good in the elements. The tension band system and placement of plenty of guy ropes makes sure it won't blow away.

I JUST LOVE THIS TENT!

I have sat in this tent when the wind is blowing and the rain driving down watching other tents of similar size suffering. The giant porch is excellent for cooking when the weather is wet or if you have dogs and want to keep them close (but not to close). I just cannot rate this tent high enough as a car camp tent. I got mine from an Army surplus store for £20 but if I had to buy a new one I would not hesitate to pay the full price.
I have used this tent in all types of weather and as yet have not found a weaknesses.
If you are deciding between the Equinox 350 and another similar tent go for the Equinox you will not be disappointed.
