Bomb proof

Pack size
Lightweight
Quick and easy to erect
Stability
White interior
Sligtly draughty
We used this tent for 3 months across the Pyrenees, Alps, Grand Paradiso, Dolomites and Corsica. It survived an incredible battering on the PHR one nightwhere, the tent was flattened onto us by the wind-no tears or breaks. Would recommend the standard version in preferance to the light weight one for, durability, strength and ease of erection. Make a little cover to velcro over the end mesh vent.

PERFORMS WELL IN RAIN, SHINE, WIND AND SNOW!

Quick to pitch, lightweight, small packsize, stands up to heavy persistant rain and has even been used in snow with no problems.
You need 13 pegs not 12 as supplied, other than this none!
I have used this tent to wildcamp for a number of years. Due to its light weight, it is suitable to use for solo trips and allows lots of space for a single occupant. I have also used it to sleep 2 a number of times- it is a bit snug for two, however if you wanted more room, you would have to buy a bigger, heavier tent. An excellent tent!

GREAT TENT , COULD BE IMPROVED WITH MINOR DESIGN DETAIL

Strong tent construction.
Quality materials.
Good internal height. Changed to this from an Acto for this reason.
Not easy to match the clips to appropriate pole in poor weather conditions.TN should colour code the clips.Less likely to get inner wet as erecting would be quicker.
Would like a loose sheet to velcro over mesh.
If the above two simple additions were made the tent would be near perfect.

GOOD BUT COLD IN WIND

Stable and quick/easy to pitch, not too heavy given it's build quality.
COLD!! With the narrow (foot) end of the inner being mesh, presumably to aid ventilation and help keep the weight down, the wind whipped through the tent (I pitched it with this end into the wind as you'd expect) and I was freezing. Admittedly I was on my own in a 2 man tent but even so, I'm usually toasty. For info I minimised the wind by reducing the gap at the bottom of the fly but still got cold in 3 season weather. I'd rather have a little condensation than be cold...
I am a fan of TN tents and have used a quasar on many occassions, which I love. The quasars are really heavy though, especially for one person (if you're going to carry it yourself), and I really wanted to like this as a lighter weight 1-2 man option. Anybody else experience the same?

AWESOME FIRST TIME TENT

Stood up to high winds in a valley
Is yellow and so nice to wake up in
My girlfriend loves it
It kept us going in -10!!!
I'm sure I will find some, but for now I love it
Worth every penny that I spent on it. I am looking forward to next week-end and another trek with this on my back. Picked up for £285 with the groundsheet protector.
