From Glan Dena follow the track to tal y Llyn Ogwen then follow a series of marker poles to join the path along the bank of Afon Loer. Follow the stream uphill to Clogwyn Mawr, with Ffynon Loer ahead. Here you take the East Ridge of Pen yr Ole Wen, where an occasional hand on the rock may be needed in the early sections but a reasonable path soon develops. Continue up the ridge to emerge at the summit cairn. |
