Long description

From Richmond Station walk through Richmond High St and down Water Lane to the White Cross for the 1st pint! Then walk along the river front towards and under Richmond Bridge all the way to Petersham Meadow. Cross over the road and straight up the hill to the Roebuck for fantastic views and another pint!

Turn left on leaving the pub and walk past the Star and Garter into Richmond Park. Head for Pembrooke Lodge and Nob Hill for keyhole view of St Pauls then free walk towards Ham Gate. On leaving Richmond Park head straight into Ham Woods and work your way to the top left hand corner of the woods.

On leaving the woods turn lef towards Kingston and go to the Hand & Flower for a spot of lunch and a pint! On leaving the pub head straight across the road and down the side of Ham Common keeping the duck pond to your right hand side. Walk through the village and turn left into Ashburton Road.

Walk all the way down to Ham Nature reserve. Cross the reserve to Ham Lock and once lock has been explored cross to the Anglers or Tide End Cottage for a pint. Re-cross the lock and turn left onto the river path follow teh path all teh way past Ham House and to the Ferry pick-up point. Catch the ferry to St Margarets. Turn left and walk towards Twickenham. go straight past the White Swan
