Long description
Start at edale and follow the signs for the pennine way.
Cross the river grindsbrook while it is in the village and follow it allong the path until you get to steeper places. you should still follow the path along the river but it may get lost and appear on the other side....keep to the path untill you get to the top of kinderscout. take a compase baring from where you are (at the top of grindsbrook clough) to kinder downfall. (this is one of the most dangerouse bits of the walk because it is easy to get lost and there are lots of bogs, so take it slowly and don't stray from the compass bearing.) when you get to kinderdownfall there is a path that crosses the river, follow this untill you get to snake road. There should be a clearly marked path with sign posts for the pennine way on the opposite side of the road, follow this (going over blearlow hill.....another bit where it is easy to get lost because there are grufs so you can't see very far in some places, so don't stray from the path) and it will take you to tourside resevour. cross the resevour and follow the signs for crowden.
Getting there

there is a train that goes to edale

Facilities

there is a pub at edale and campsite. there is also a campsite and shop at crowden.
