Thinking of a night walk onto Kinder to see the new year in.Weather dependent I plan to set off up one of the more interesting routes up - Crowden Brook. Probably take about a 1.5hr so we plan to set off at 10ish.Anyone interested or planning

Looking for somewhere to go for new years - in the uk. My wife is pregnant so we'll not be doing anything too active, but would like to get a way to a nice hotel somewhere with some walking and then a nice pub (for me) and meal at night.Anyone got

Does anyone know of any scheduled walk/mountain hut parties etc being held New Years Eve? We'll be based in Glossop but anywhere in the Peaks will do really. Just wanted to do something other than a wild camp for two, and would rather not be crammed
