A nice wildcamping site I found today.
I like it! by Trevor D Gamble

years ago when deciding to start out with a bit more regular wild-camping and found it very useful. And no, it hasn't been updated for yonks, has it? If you like retro backpacking check out these woodstock ramblers in Tasmaina and the kit they used.http://www.david-noble.net/Tasmania

Pots and Pans (not MSR)
by Matt Hand

(can't remember the make), the largest pot - weighs 230gr and holds 1700ml to the brim - and a slightly smaller pot.  But this isn't big enough for a big meal for 3 (not 3 hungry mountain men ) so I want lighter and larger (21/2l+ ??). When in Tasmania

by Matt Hand

The Missus and I are off to Tasmania soon and doing a wilderness trek. She has a recurring shoulder injury, rotator cuff. Doc recommends she use an extra pad under her rucksack shoulder strap to spread the weight evenly and reduce pressure. A folded
