Northern OMers might like to know that not only do we now have
Selfridges and Harvey Nicks but the Daily Telegraph Adventure Travel
Show has also made it outside the concrete perimeter of the M25.
The show's on at Manchester's G-Mex center this weekend 1st-2nd
November. It's a good way of finding lots of adventure travel
companies in one place - over 100 say the organisers - plus there's a
two-day programme of lectures and talks from top travellers and
explorers as well as a Travel Advice Theatre where you can get tips
from the pros...
Tickets are a fiver in advance or £7.00 on the door. Open
both days from 10 am to 6 pm.
Alienated southern shandy drinkers will get their own show at
Olympia, definitely in London, on the 16th-18th January 2004.

web site.
