Annabelle Bond - A Correction

Ooops, looks like we made a mistake when we credited Annabelle Bond with being the youngest woman to climb all of the Seven Summits.

In a recent article on OUTDOORSmagic, we suggested, okay, we said, that Annabelle Bond had become the youngest woman to complete the Seven Summits challenge and climb the highest peak on every continent.

In fact Rebecca Stephens, who completed the challenge in 1994 is the youngest female ever to complete the Seven Summits while Jo Gambi, another Briton is the second youngest. Ms Bond actually ranks third in the list. She does however hold the record for the fastest ascent of all seven by a woman and is the first woman born in Singapore to complete the feat.

Apologies for any confusion. And don't let the error detract from what's still a very impressive achivement.
