There's a news
update on Sir Chris Bonington's latest trip on the Berghaus website at the moment.
It actually took place in June this year and is described as 'An
Adventurous Trek in Kullu'. Chris trekked with a Nepali support team
through the Sainj Valley in the Great Himalaya National Park, knocking
off a 5205-metre peak en route and using Berghaus kit all the way.
The Berghaus report is quiet brief, but more interesting is the
full
report complete with some atmospheric pics on Bonington's own website. Interesting log bridge crawling pic on the first page and, of
course, a dramatic Bonington summit photo.
