Sad news from the Himalayas where a 36-year-old British climber
has died while attempting to climb Baruntse, a 7,000 metre peak in
the Khumbu region of Nepal.
Michael Turner from Northampton reportedly fell when a rope he was
'attached to' snapped. he is the first climber reportedly killed in
the Nepal Himalaya this season. Our sympathies to his friends and
family.
