A British climber has gone missing in northern Spain after setting off to climb in the Picos de Europa mountains alone press reports say.

A British climber has been missing in the mountains of northern
Spain since last Friday according to press reports.
William Sutherland, from Merseyside, set out alone to climb in the
compact limestone massif of the Picos de Europa near Bilbao, but
failed to return. Spanish rescue teams are reportedly searching the
area, but are being hampered by bad weather.
