British Guide And Client Killed In The Alps
A talented young British climber and his policewoman client have died after falling from the NE face of Piz Badile according to news reports.

Sad news from the Alps where leading British climber Jules
Cartwright and his client, Julie Colverd, have been killed in a fall
on Piz Badile.
Cartwright, 29, was one of the UK's brightest young alpinists
having climbed hard routes throughout the world including an
acclaimed new route in Alaska and, notably, the first ascent of the
difficult NW Ridge of Ama Dablam in the Everest region. His client
was a policewoman and the first woman member of the specialist
firearms unit in London.
The pair were reportedly roped together and fell from the NE face
of the mountain after a slip at approximately 2600 metres. More on
