One of the British trekkers kidnapped by FARC guerillas in the
north of Colombia has reportedly escaped from his captors by jumping
into a ravine and walking out to safety.
Matthew Scott, 19, walked for two days surviving only on water
until he reached an indigenous village some 12 days after being taken
hostage.
